I went out with a plan of doing 10k and came home after doing less than half than that.
For whatever reason I didn't feel like going out in the first place. I've put a lot of miles down over the past few weeks so perhaps I just needed a break - last nights run was a tough one, going up that hill at quite a pace. I need to remember the saying "listen to your body".
I'm going to put tonight down to experience, last time I felt like this I got back out on the road and did better than before. So I'm not going to beat myself up about it, I'm going to move on. My only thought is I need to make sure my training doesn't become a chore - it's meant to be fun after all!
parkrun tomorrow, going to go out and have a run, not aiming to beet any pb's just run and enjoy myself.
