A new Olympic event has been invented today! Not long in to today's run a woman was walking her dog in front of me, the dog was a little yappy thing that couldn't decide which side of the pavement it wanted to walk on. Just as I came to pass them it swerved out in front of me. Without breaking stide I was over him (or her) and was away. I'm going to speak to the IOC and see if they want to introduce it for Brazil 2016.

I'm slowly working my way towards doing half marathon distance just another 5k or so to go. Planning on working up a couple of k or so per month and be able to run home from my Mum's to home sometime in December. I would run there but I'm not sure she wants a hot sweaty man crashing through her front door. Hopefully this distance will hold me in good stead for the Stockport 10 mile race if I can get myself a place on it.
