This was going to be a quick run after work before tea, but I just kept on going. From looking at the stats it looks like I was on for a 10k pb - it'll be there for another day.
Once on the road and running I just kept going, and I'm sure the route I went on tonight was longer this way round. I felt like I could have gone a lot further, but as I've got parkrun first thing tomorrow morning (that and I wanted my tea!) I thought I'd stop once I was passing the end of my road. I'm planning on going for a longer run on Sunday when I've got the time to do it.
I'm now signed up for three 10k runs in September, the Great Yorkshire Run, Salford City and Rochdale Kingsway. I thought this sounded like a good challenge to raise some money for charity, why wait till next year when I can be raising now.
I've been in contact with the charity I want to raise money for, Leukemia and Lymphoma Research, they are kindly sending me a bright yellow running shirt so you won't be able to miss me!!
